Nestled near the Fox River Mall is Milwaukee Burger Company. The Fox Cities host one of Milwaukee Burger Company's few locations in the state and the only one in east central Wisconsin. This burger joint puts the age-old question to the test, "How much cheese is too much cheese?" Their menu features multiple cheesy concoctions, but there are a few items that really stand out. For starters, the cheese lovers at Milwaukee Burger Company have created the Curd Sampler. The Curd Sampler has four different types of curds to try. While almost all of the entrees at Milwaukee Burger Company include cheese, there's only one that takes it to the next level. When the Cheese Bomb burger is brought to your table, it may seem like an average double cheese burger until your server drops the Cheese Bomb. Your burger will be smothered in delicious melted Pepper Jack cheese, so break out a knife and a fork, this one is going to get messy.

Lamers is the spot that cheese lovers go when they're feeling "bleu". Upon entering Lamers, you'll feel like you've entered Wisconsin heaven. Lamers produces and bottles their own milk, which they use in their soft serve ice cream and, most importantly, their cheese! Their cheese is made in Wisconsin and varieties like mild, medium, and sharp cheddar; colby; colby jack; pepper jack; swiss; mozzarella; and string cheese are available. While burgers covered in cheese and cheese as far as the eye can see are great, sometimes it's nice to class things up a bit. 313 Dodge is the perfect spot to keep it upscale and fulfill your cheese cravings at the same time. Rounding out our list of five is Stone Arch Brewpub, Wisconsin's oldest brewpub. This spot is the absolute Mecca for any aspiring curd nerd. Stone Arch's cheese curds were recently voted best cheese curds in the state of Wisconsin. The curds are handmade in Chippewa Falls and immediately shipped to Stone Arch. The curds are then dipped in a batter made with Stone Arch's very own Scottish Style Ale and tossed in the frier until they're golden brown.
