The History Museum at the Castle provides an unparalleled perspective into the life and career of famed magician and Appleton resident, Harry Houdini. The museum also houses traveling exhibits as well as a number of virtual exhibits on their website.
Hearthstone Historic House Museum "was the first private residence anywhere in the world to be illuminated using hydroelectricity from a central Edison system." Enjoy house tours, summer camps for kids, and seasonal events such as Mystery at the Museum and Haunted Hearthstone: Sequential Killers of the Victorian Age.
Building For Kids Children's Museum is a playful wonderland that offers fun, educational, and immersive experiences for families of all ages. Your kids can learn about firefighting, the human heart, physics, food and agriculture - all at this exciting museum.
Atlas Science Center (formerly the Paper Discovery Center) is a museum devoted to sharing the world of science through hands-on learning, STEM+ education, interactive Live! science stage shows, and handmade papermaking. This museum also houses a permanent Genomes exhibit.

Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass is home to the largest known collection of glass paperweights in the world. Visitors can also sign up for glass art classes online to experience some of the artistry first-hand. Classes for both adults and children are available.
The Trout Museum of Art hosts between 12 to 18 exhibitions a year and features artwork from local, national, and international artists. First Thursdays of the Month are free admission.
